TORONTO – Former City TV’s Breakfast Television personality Jennifer Valentyne joined the popular morning show on Toronto’s Q107 radio station on Tuesday.
Valentyne, (pictured left), joins long-time host John Derringer (right), along with Ryan Parker and John Garbutt, on the newly renamed Derringer in the Morning with Jennifer Valentyne, which airs weekdays from 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM on the Corus-owned station.
Valentyne was dispatched from City Toronto’s Breakfast Television last April after 23 years on the show. She then went on to host The Bachelorette Canada After Show on the W Network.
“Jennifer is the perfect fit to round out our existing all-star team,” said senior program director Blair Bartrem, in the news release. “We’ve been searching for our very own Elaine to join our Seinfeld-like cast of characters and now we’ve found her.”
