Disney|ABC recognized as Company of Distinction at Banff

BANFF – Juggernaut media company Disney|ABC Television Group will be honoured as the Company of Distinction at the 2017 Banff World Media Festival.

Disney|ABC manages all of The Walt Disney Company's, Disney and ABC-branded television properties, including ABC Television Network, ABC Studios, Disney Channels Worldwide and Freeform.  Senior executives, showrunners and talent will be featured throughout the four-day event, and, as part of the Company of Distinction program, keynote presentations will be made by Channing Dungey, president, ABC Entertainment; Patrick Moran, president ABC Studios; Gary Marsh, president and chief creative officer, Disney Channels Worldwide; and Freeform president Tom Ascheim.

The 38th annual Banff World Media Festival will take place June 11-14, 2017 at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, AB.
