Corus Radio’s Stanton returning to U.S.

TORONTO – Ronnie Stanton, currently vice-president of national brands and programming for the Corus Radio Network will be moving to the U.S. at the end of November in order to focus on his radio consulting business full-time, the company announced today.

While he is leaving the company, Stanton will maintain a role as programming consultant to Corus, as the company has contracted for the exclusive use of his services in Canada. He also acted as program director for Vancouver’s CFOX, so Dustin Collins, PD for Corus’ Rock 101 in the city, will add on the duties of CFOX Program Director to his role.

As for the rest of Stanton’s duties, while he will still hold some of his current responsibilities, the rest will be rejigged between the other VPs listed below, according to a company spokesperson.

Brad Phillips, VP Corus Radio, West. Responsible for all FM stations in western Canada.

Chris Sisam, VP Corus Radio, East. Responsible for all FM stations in eastern Canada.

Lars Wunsche, director Corus Radio, Central. Responsible for all FM stations in central Canada.

Kenton Boston, VP News and Information, West. Responsible for all AM stations in the west

Ward Smith, VP News and Information, East. Responsible for all AM stations in the east
