Bell Media’s ‘Fantastic’ campaign plugs new J.K. Rowling film

TORONTO – Bell Media is partnering with Warner Bros. Pictures Canada on a multi-faceted campaign in support of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the latest film from J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter world.

The campaign, which kicked off on October 11, will run through to “Fantastic Friday,” the day of the film’s release on Friday, November 18.  A ticket giveaway contest was promoted across Bell Media properties including etalk, Your Morning, Innerspace, Much, and E!, while iHeartRadio Canada stations including Virgin Radio (Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montreal, Toronto, and Halifax), CHUM FM, QM FM, Rouge FM, CIOO, and Majic 100 are promoting the film’s release through on-air, online, and on-site giveaways.

In addition, etalk host Devon Soltendieck will sit down with director David Yates, star Eddie Redmayne, and other cast members in front of a live studio audience for a half-hour special produced in support of the campaign.  The show will debut on November 18 at 7:00 PM on CTV.

Pictures Canada has enabled us to roll out a multi-faceted campaign with exclusive, customized content reaching Canadians across the country,” said Bell Media brand partnerships director Laird White, in the news release.  “Our campaign provides viewers with once-in-a-lifetime contest opportunities, engaging content, ticket giveaways, and targeted media coverage leading up to the film’s theatrical release.”
