REGINA – Access Communications has rolled out faster Internet service in five communities in Sasktachewan.

The company said this week that AccessHyperSpeed 100, which boasts download speeds of up to 100 Mbps, is available now in in Estevan, Bienfait, Weyburn, Midale and Yellow Grass.

“Access plays an important role to connect our communities, and we understand that we must continue to invest and innovate in order to continue to provide the services that our customers and our communities need”, said Access marketing manager Chad Cunningham, in the news release.  “Through our network technology we are in a position to launch this service to every home in a community all at once. That way, nobody has to sit on a wait-list or wait for localized upgrades.”

In other company news, community channel Access7 will have HD coverage of the first ever live event from Regina’s new Mosaic Stadium when the University of Regina Rams take on the University of Saskatchewan Huskies on October 1st at 2:00 PM CST.  The stadium will be the new home of the CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders next fall.

With WHL, CIS, and CJFL coverage, Access7 bills itself as an essential addition to any Saskatchewan sports fan’s lineup.  Its programming lineup is available here.
