
LONDON, UK – Natural history producer and distributor Love Nature has named Anthony Jewitt to the new role of director of partnerships.
Operating out of the company’s UK-based office, Jewitt (pictured) will oversee Love Nature’s global SVoD and linear television distribution, excluding North America, plus take the lead on securing scale for the business, driving strategic initiatives, partnerships and business development. Blue Ant International will continue to manage Love Nature’s program sales.
Jewitt arrives at Love Nature via Red Bull Media House where he served as director, affiliate sales and programming. He has also held senior sales roles at Viacom and BBC Worldwide.
“Anthony brings over a decade of experience in global content distribution and partnerships to his role as Director, Partnerships,” said Love Nature International managing director Jo Parkinson, in the announcement. “By leading the charge with international affiliate relations and platform partnerships, Anthony will be a key player in Love Nature’s mission to bring our library of stunning 4K natural history content to wildlife and nature lovers across the globe.”
Jewitt will join the Love Nature team at MIPCOM 2016, actively pursuing affiliate sales and partnership opportunities.
A joint venture between Blue Ant Media and Smithsonian Networks, Love Nature produces over 200 hours of 4K nature and wildlife content annually.
