
TORONTO – Corus Entertainment will be shopping three of its new, original unscripted lifestyle series for international sale at MIPCOM.
The new series are:
– Home to Win (10×60) – HGTV Canada celebrities including Scott McGillivray, Bryan Baeumler, Mike Holmes and Sarah Richardson completely remodel an average, run-of-the-mill house into a dramatic, inspirational dream home. The series will culminate in a one-hour challenge episode where home-winning hopefuls will compete to win the spectacular house. Produced by Architect Films in association with Corus Entertainment.
– Backyard Builds (8×30) – Contractor Brian McCourt and design expert Sarah Keenleyside work with homeowners to maximize their backyard potential to create tailored, one-of-a-kind structures. Produced by Frantic Films in association with Corus Entertainment.
– $ave My Reno (14×30) – Cash-conscious homeowners catch a break when Sebastian Clovis, the savvy contractor with contagious energy, and Sabrina Smelko, the resourceful DIY designer, toss out overpriced reno quotes and make dreams come true with a slashed budget and spectacular renovation. At MIPCOM, Corus will be represented by seasoned broadcast sales executive Rita Carbone Fleury, who will be overseeing the global sales of Corus' original content slate.
