TORONTO – When The Bachelorette Canada premieres for its first-ever season in September, a number of brands will be supporting Canadian Bachelorette Jasmine Lorimer as she looks for love on the show.
Corus Entertainment announced it is partnering with Two Oceans Wines, Sunwing Vacations, Michael Hill and Amopé Foot Care to integrate the companies’ brands into The Bachelorette Canada’s story line as well as promotional features during The Bachelorette Canada Aftershow.
“As part of a hugely popular franchise with an existing engaged audience, The Bachelorette Canada presents the opportunity for brands to connect with a strong established fan base,” Barb Mckergow, vice-president of client marketing for Corus Entertainment, said in a news release. “Whether it’s an integration into an adventurous date out or a quiet night in, through series travel, or the Aftershow, we have married well suited brands with seamless integration opportunities that complement the story line and will resonate with fans.”
In addition to serving as the wine of choice throughout the series, Two Oceans will also be on hand to keep conversations flowing during the Aftershow. Corus said it also plans to let fans get a taste of The Bachelorette Canada’s favourite wines through sampling activities in Toronto and Vancouver.
As the show’s exclusive travel partner, Sunwing Vacations will fly the Bachelorette and her suitors to a romantic, tropical location this season, with the top-secret destination for the season finale to be revealed later in the series. One lucky Canadian fan will also have the chance to win a trip to the finale destination through a contest to be promoted during The Bachelorette Canada Aftershow.
In addition, as the show’s official jeweller, Michael Hill jewellery will be worn throughout the show by the Canadian Bachelorette. Each on-air integration will be accompanied by social media posts on W Network’s platforms of Jasmine wearing the jewellery. Finally, when it comes time for the last two bachelors to select engagement rings, Michael Hill will be the jeweller of choice.
To ensure Canada’s first-ever Bachelorette feels well taken care of, a complete line of foot and nail care products from Amopé will be integrated into a group date where the bachelors must show they can give a woman a spa-like experience. Amopé products will also be featured in an episode of The Bachelorette Canada Aftershow to provide a very Bachelorette-esque experience.
The Bachelorette Canada and The Bachelorette Canada Aftershow are produced by Vancouver-based production company Good Human Productions Inc. The Bachelorette Canada will premiere September 13 on W Network.
