
EXTON, PA – Cable will peer into a future of gigabit broadband services, 4K UHD, virtual reality and intelligent energy management solutions during four days of technical workshops at SCTE/ISBE Cable-Tec Expo 2016, set for September 26 – 29 in Philadelphia.
Workshops will focus on such topics as DOCSIS 3.1, FTTx and the implementation and impact of new video experiences on existing networks, as well as Software Defined Networking (SDN), Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and other next-generation network technologies, workforce optimization solutions and sessions informed by SCTE/ISBE’s landmark Energy 2020 program.
The feature presentations will be conducted by noted industry technologists including John Ulm (ARRIS), John Chapman (Cisco), Rob Howald (Comcast), and Jeff Finkelstein (Cox), among others. The agenda has been programmed by the SCTE/ISBE Cable-Tec Expo 2016 program committee, chaired by John Schanz, executive vice-president and chief network officer of Comcast Cable.
