VICTORIA – Vecima Networks is gearing up to unveil its new IPTV and OTT multiscreen video delivery solution known as Bravura at NAB 2016 next week.
Bravura is a software-based solution that provides all elements required for multiscreen SD, HD, and 4K Ultra-HD premium video processing, preparation, and delivery, reads the news release. The platform allows for seamless integration of ad insertion and multiple DRM schemes as well as delivery of catch-up services including time shifting and nPVR.
“With Bravura’s HEVC live encoding support, service providers can deliver superior quality HD and Ultra-HD Premium content to their subscribers anywhere, anytime, and on more devices while consuming minimum bandwidth,” said president and CEO Sumit Kumar, in the release. “As a pure software solution, Bravura makes it easy for operators to support new codecs, encapsulation standards and screen sizes without the burden of expensive hardware upgrades. This is particularly important in the rapidly changing IPTV and OTT technology landscape.”
