MONTREAL – Stingray Digital Group has entered the UAE market after striking a strategic agreement with telecom company du.
Du serves more than 7.5 million individual customers and over 80,000 businesses in the UAE, providing mobile and fixed telephony, broadband connectivity and IPTV services. It also offers carrier services for businesses and satellite up/downlink services for TV broadcasters.
As a result of the agreement, Stingray Music and Stingray Concerts will now be available to du home customers across the UAE. Stingray and du will continue to develop their music offering, with additional services scheduled to be deployed this year.
"We are proud to partner with du," said Stingray president, co-founder and CEO Eric Boyko, in Monday’s news release. "We believe in creating music products and services that can adapt to local cultures and trends in response to each partners' requirements. We continue to leverage our expertise to expand our reach across all continents and to solidify our reputation as a key industry player."
