
TORONTO – Rogers is rolling out new leapfrog cybersecurity solutions that it says will help Canadian businesses to detect and prevent against global cyber-attacks.
In partnership with Chicago-based information security company Trustwave, Rogers is offering services such as real-time monitoring of security events within a businesses' network infrastructure; cybersecurity diagnostic tools for proactive scanning and security testing to identify network security weaknesses and solutions ahead of a breach; and dedicated security teams that will help customers to comply with laws governing data protection and to maintain their network infrastructure.
"Cybersecurity is the number one concern for Canadian businesses of all sizes, and many lack the resources, time and expertise to manage the reality of cyber threats today" said Rogers’ Enterprise Business Unit president Nitin Kawale, in the news release. "We are introducing solutions to our customers of all sizes, with local and global operations, that are backed by one of the world's cybersecurity leaders, Trustwave. These solutions are offered as a service to give our customers peace of mind knowing their networks and data are secured."
These are the first in a series of solutions that Rogers will launch to address the burden cybersecurity puts on Canadian businesses, the company added.
