TORONTO – Blue Ant Media’s new lifestyle specialty channel Makeful is kicking off its fall programming lineup Monday night, and is available on a national free preview for the next eight weeks.
Geared towards makers and craft-enthusiasts, the ad-supported, specialty channel is a rebrand of the now defunct Bite TV. New series include Jamie’s American Road Trip, Your Home in Their Hands and This Old Thing, with programming is intended to inspire culinary creations, DIY and creativity.
Makeful will also present a series of original content through its television programming and online, featuring its growing community of makers like Coriander Girl and Melissa Di Renzo. In these short-form videos, Makeful’s makers will share projects and the inspiration for their craft.
“Makeful will bring audiences programming that will unite, inspire and celebrate the creativity in us all,” said Blue Ant Media content EVP Vanessa Case, in the news release. “We are thrilled to share this new brand, its television programming and growing community of makers to an extraordinary audience of 10 million subscribers with a national free preview over the next eight weeks.”
