
TORONTO – Global News has announced plans to partner with Twitter Canada to provide up-to-the-minute election night coverage next month.
On Monday, October 19th, Global News and Twitter Canada will deliver real-time, in-depth coverage of Canada’s election night conversation for online, social media and broadcast audiences. In addition, political influencers and other special guests, including Twitter Canada’s Steve Ladurantaye, will share their analysis of the election night results as they unfold.
This exclusive partnership between Global News and Twitter Canada will include cutting-edge data visualization technology that Canadians can only see on Global’s Decision Canada election night broadcast special. Hosted by Global National’s Dawna Friesen and The West Block’s Tom Clark, coverage begins at 7:00 PM ET (4:00 PM PT) on Global Halifax, Global New Brunswick, Globalnews.ca and Global News: BC-1; and across the rest of the Global network at 9:00 PM ET.
