Nelson Millman joins SiriusXM Canada as NHL program director

TORONTO – SiriusXM Canada has named Canadian radio veteran Nelson Millman as program director of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio

Produced in partnership with the National Hockey League at SiriusXM Canada's Toronto studios, the station provides 24/7 NHL coverage and live game play-by-play, plus expert hockey analysis.  It is available on channel 91.

With more than 42 years of radio experience, including VP/GM of Sportsnet’s The Fan 590 in Toronto, Millman (pictured) brings the sports broadcasting background, strong management capabilities, and passion for hockey required to lead North America's top provider of live NHL audio content, reads Thursday’s announcement.

"We're very pleased to have Nelson on board," said SiriusXM Canada programming and operations SVP John Lewis, in the announcement.  "With so many years of sports radio under his belt and his tenacious spirit, we are certain he is the right person to continue bringing the best hockey coverage on radio to all of our subscribers."
