India’s Travelxp channel now available to Rogers TV subscribers

MUMBAI — Rogers TV viewers will now be able to access India’s high-definition travel channel, Travelxp, which is already available to Bell TV customers.

Although the channel is available in both English and Hindi in other geographies, in Canada it will be telecast in Hindi only, catering to the large population of people from the Indian subcontinent now settled in Canada. According to a Travelxp press release, the channel has the largest library of travel content in the world, with world-class programming filmed in more than 35 countries in HD-quality broadcast and a few programs in 4K technology.

“We are extremely thrilled with this alliance with Rogers TV. We are already available on Bell Canada and now, with this new addition, we will be able to reach out to a wider audience in Canada. With this growth, Travelxp aims at filming large amount of content capturing some of the world’s best natural beauty making Canada one of our filming hubs,” Travelxp CEO Prashant Chothani said in the news release.

Commenting on the alliance, Slava Levin, CEO of Canadian multicultural TV channel distributor Ethnic Channels Group, said: “Ethnic Channels Group is very excited about the launch of Travelxp on Rogers.
