ESTEVAN, SK – Access Communications’ community channel Access7 has been named as the broadcast sponsor for the Estevan 2016 Saskatchewan Summer Games.
Saskatchewan’s young athletes have been participating in the Saskatchewan Games for over 40 years. These biennial games not only provide athletes with an opportunity to test their sport specific skills, but also serve to develop and promote individual sports across the province.
Live event coverage will support the event’s mission to ‘Energize the Games’ and celebrate sportsmanship, friendship, volunteerism and sport development, reads the news release.
“This is an incredible opportunity for us to showcase local sports excellence,” said Access Communications’ community programming manager, Wade Peterson, in the release. “Coverage will profile our province's developing athletes and coaches, showcase the Estevan community and build community unity and pride.”
