
OAKVILLE – Pelmorex Media Inc. announced two promotions in the areas of monetization and ad sales as it eyes greater international expansion.
PMI is an international leader in multi-platform weather information services connecting to a growing base of 43 million users via brands such as The Weather Network and MétéoMédia in Canada, Eltiempo in Spain, The Weather Network in UK and US, and Wetter Plus in Germany.
Pelmorex Canada named Michael Viner to the newly created position of general manager, ad sales. Viner has been with Pelmorex since 2012 in various sales management roles, and prior to that, spent several years at a leading Canadian Media rep house.
At PMI, Robert Crawford assumes the position of VP monetization, planning & development. Crawford, who joined PMI 10 years ago and has held several leadership roles within the company, will now be responsible for coordinating the planning and development and support for sales activities in each of the company’s market specific business units.
