
REGINA – SaskTel has launched its new Wavelength service for businesses offering up to 10 Gbps of dedicated bandwidth to support latency sensitive networking applications.
This new service provides protection for disaster recovery, off-site data back-up, and inter-connection of storage area networks. Using Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) technologies and SaskTel’s fibre network infrastructure, this new service will provide customers with the bandwidth and reliability needed to support large and frequent data transfers, latency-sensitive functions, and various networking applications.
The service is available now to retail and wholesale business customers in Regina, White City, and Saskatoon.
