CALGARY – Shaw has launched the WWE Network, just in time for Wrestlemania 31.

Available immediately for Shaw Cable and Shaw Direct customers, the subscription-based network offers premium wrestling programming, including all 12 live WWE pay-per-view events, original series and documentaries and exclusive on-demand content for $11.99 per month.

Shaw customers who subscribe to the WWE network also get access to the WWE App. Available online and for download on mobile devices, the WWE App features 24/7 streaming of scheduled WWE programming, an on-demand library, and provides subscribers with an exclusive second screen companion experience while watching WWE Network programs on their main screen.

The WWE Network is available to Shaw Cable subscribers as a pick-and-pay option on channel 225, and Shaw Direct subscribers on channels 117 or 617. Shaw customers who choose not to subscribe to the network can still access live WWE events through the traditional pay-per-view option.

"WWE viewers are some of the most passionate and loyal of our cable and satellite customers and we are happy to be giving them unparalleled access to WWE's extensive content catalogue," said Shaw’s VP operations Katherine Emberly, in the news release.  "From original programming, documentaries and reality shows, to every WWE, WCW and ECW pay-per-view event ever, the WWE Network gives subscribers access to a staggering amount of content, just in time for the biggest event of the year, Wrestlemania 31, coming next Saturday, March 29."
