
HAMILTON – With the Juno Awards set for Sunday, SiriusXM Canada is reinstating Juno Radio to highlight the best Canadian musical talent from the past and present.
The limited-run takeover will debut on Friday, March 13 and run through Sunday, March 15 on Sirius (channel 161) and XM (channel 173) and offer subscribers exclusive interviews, special moments and award predictions from artists such as Arkells, Billy Talent, Michael Bublé, Carly Rae Jepsen, Feist, Tegan and Sara, USS, and Whitehorse. Listeners can also hear classic content from the Juno vault spanning from across the Awards' history plus live behind-the-scenes coverage of this year’s awards.
In other Juno news, music streaming service Rdio has been named an official music sponsor of this year’s awards and is offering listeners a rich content hub of curated stations and playlists from the likes of Canadian artists such as Hedley (Dave Rosin), Lights, Sam Roberts and Dallas Green of You+Me. In addition, Rdio is also fully integrated into the official 2015 Juno Awards app, allowing iOS and Android users who download the app to preview songs from nominated artists and connect directly to Rdio to experience full tracks.
The 2015 Juno Awards will air March 15, 2015 live on CTV from Hamilton's FirstOntario Centre.
