Bell bumps up data in travel passes

MONTREAL – Bell has unveiled new travel data passes that boosts the amount of data for its customers travelling internationally.

Travel data passes for zone 1 countries such as Mexico, the United Kingdom and China, for example, now include 100 MB of data usage for $30 compared to 50 MB previously.  A second pass for 300 MB in zone 1 countries is available for $75.  Travellers to zone 2 countries, like Brazil, India, Russia and South Africa, may buy a $40 pass for 25 MB or a $100 pass for 100 MB, while zone 3 counrty passes cost $50 for 10 MB and $100 for 30 MB.

"By doubling the value of our Travel Data Passes, Bell customers travelling in international destinations will find accessing maps, using apps, sharing pictures or keeping up with emails more affordable than ever," said Bell Mobility president Wade Oosterman, in the news release.  "Bell takes the worry out of roaming by including automated usage notifications, easy renewal options and limits on usage overages."
