OTTAWA – Renowned independent film producer Ted Hope has joined the lineup of speakers at the CMPA’s Prime Time In Ottawa conference.
Hope, pictured, is currently CEO of Fandor, a highly curated SVOD platform for independent cinema, and is the author of the book Hope For Film. He is also the co-founder of independent film companies Good Machine and This is That, which produced the Academy Award nominated films Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, In the Bedroom, 21 Grams, and American Splendor, among others.
Hope’s keynote will focus on the changing film ecosystem, adapting from a scarcity model to one of abundant competition, and the power of aggregated communities when cultivated with relationship, participation and meaning.
