MONTREAL and NEW YORK – Corus-owned Historia is about to get a little more History after finalizing an agreement to share content and branding with A+E Networks’ History.

Starting this winter, Historia will add even more series from the History catalogue to its lineup, including Mountain Men, Appalachian Outlaws, Down East Dickering and No Man’s Land.  Historia will also incorporate the iconic gold History ‘H’ into its logo.

“We’re delighted to partner with one of the biggest players in the television business,” said Corus Media president Mario Cecchini, in the announcement.  “This deal will enrich our broadcasting package with shows produced by a world-renowned brand.”

“History is a powerful brand with truly innovative content and compelling characters that have struck a chord with viewers globally," added Christopher Barry, SVP international strategy and digital media for A+E Networks.  “We are pleased to join forces with Corus Media to bring our content and branding to Historia viewers.”

History is available in more than 180 territories and 325+ million households worldwide.
