VANCOUVER – Telus has added more than 50 CTV programs to its Optik TV lineup, making the likes of Amazing Race Canada, The Big Bang Theory, Grey's Anatomy and new shows such as Gotham and Forever available on demand and on the go.
Viewers can watch full episodes on demand and live stream programs whenever and wherever they are, either at home through their Optik TV digital box or on the move on their smartphone or tablet by accessing Optik's on the go app. Optik TV subscribers can also access live and on demand programming including CTV and CTV Two's complete schedules on their smartphones, tablets, and computers at no additional charge by logging onto CTV.ca using their Optik TV account credentials or via the CTV GO app.
“Not only have our customers told us they want TV to be simpler, but they also want more control over how they access their favourite shows," said Blair Miller, Telus’ VP content, in the news release. "Bringing CTV content to our customers on demand and on the go is another way we're delivering on this promise.”
Telus Optik TV subscribers can download the Optik on the go app as well as the CTV GO app from the Apple App Store on their iPhone, iPad, iPad Mini, and iPod touch or from Google Play on their Android smartphone or tablet. Optik on the go can be used over Wi-Fi and wireless networks.
