WINNIPEG –  MTS said that it will launch TSN's expanded line-up of five national feeds, TSN1, TSN2, TSN3, TSN4 and TSN5, and as a result, will offer Winnipeg Jets games in MTS TV's Basic Service channel group.

TSN3, with its regional package of 60 Jets games, will appear in standard definition on channel 22 for MTS Ultimate TV and Classic TV subscribers, and in high definition on channel 1022 for MTS Ultimate TV subscribers. MTS Digital Cable subscribers can also catch the hockey action on channel 6.

"At MTS, we understand how much Manitobans love their Winnipeg Jets," said Paul Norris, VP of brand & consumer marketing, in the news release.  "With even more great sports programming included in MTS's basic channel package, Jets fans will be able to watch more than 60 games – home and away – without paying a separate fee."

In other company news, MTS announced that it has expanded its 4G LTE wireless network to Carman, the latest in a series of expansions this year that have brought this technology to 12 more rural Manitoba communities.

More than 850,000 Manitobans now have access to MTS's 4G LTE Wireless Network, which offers download speeds of up to 150 Mbps, and the company said that it plans to cover more than 90% of the province’s population with 4G LTE wireless service over the next five years.
