TORONTO and WINNIPEG – TSN has collapsed its two year old regional hockey service known as TSN Jets and is moving its package of 60 regional Winnipeg Jets games to TSN3, one of the sports network’s three new national feeds scheduled to debut Monday.

To access regional Jets games on TSN3, fans must live in the Jets’ designated broadcast region, which includes Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, and parts of Northwestern Ontario including Kenora, Dryden, and Thunder Bay.  TSN subscribers with participating television service providers in the Jets’ broadcast region will receive TSN3.

“Our new expansion feeds allow us to better serve Winnipeg Jets fans,” said TSN president Stewart Johnston, in the news release.  “With a wider distribution of Jets games, we are reaching more viewers and providing more value for our clients and partners.”

TSN’s Jets coverage will continue with play-by-play commentary by veteran broadcaster and Manitoba native Dennis Beyak, with colour commentary duties shared by former NHL players Shane Hnidy and Brian Engblom.
