AJAX, ON – Broadcast, wireless and satellite solutions provider Novanet Communications has become an equal equity partner in satellite service provider Beyond Communications. Financial terms were not disclosed.
For more than 25 years, Novanet has designed, engineered and commissioned equipment installations and solutions for national TV and radio broadcasters, as well as global telecommunication enterprises. During that time, it has also built and operated dedicated SCPC and shared DVB and VSAT satellite hubs for both Ku and C band. Similarly, Beyond Communications’ (BCom) focus has been the operation of its North American carrier-grade satellite network to support large enterprise clients in the mining and energy sectors.
The partnership means that Novanet and BCom will jointly have presence in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City.
“We have had a long-standing and respectful relationship with the BCom management team”, said Novanet president and CEO Joe Uyede, in the news release. “We now have high expectations for new market penetration once we share our strengths and obvious synergies.”
