
TORONTO – Hollywood Suite is showing its support for National Canadian Film Day on Tuesday, April 29 by airing non-stop Canadian films starting at noon across its four HD movie channels.
National Canadian Film Day is an initiative of Reel Canada, an organization that has staged some 800 festivals of Canadian films for over 200,000 high school students and new Canadians across the country since 2005.
From award winning films like Black Robe, Lies My Father Told Me, Marion Bridge, and New Waterford Girl to the ever popular Porky’s, plus Deepa Mehta films Sam And Me and Bollywood/Hollywood, Hollywood Suite will honour the achievements of Canadian filmmakers by airing over 20 films. In addition, over 30 Canadian films are available this month on VOD allowing viewers to watch anytime.
