TORONTO – Susy Papais is assuming the role of vice president of finance for Insight Productions.
Papais, (pictured), has a well-rounded history working in television and media, starting in 2001 at Alliance Atlantis, with stints from 2002 – 2007 at Rogers Broadcasting (Radio) and Corus Radio, and most recently as director of finance at Teletoon. In her new role, she will oversee the day-to-day financial operations for both corporate and production accounting plus assist with a variety of growth initiatives and new opportunities at the production company.
"Susy brings an experienced, watchful eye and great energy to this role," said president and COO Barbara Bowlby, in the announcement. "She has extensive working knowledge with all facets of TV in Canada, which is imperative for this position, and we are thrilled to be working with her on all of our exciting projects on-air, in production and in development."
