TORONTO – With the inaugural CommTech East Show just weeks away, organizers have confirmed an engaging lineup of speakers and diverse sessions.
Scheduled for April 15 and 16, 2014 at the Mississauga Convention Centre, the more than 25 sessions will include topics such as:
– If FTTH is the Future, What Happens Before Then?;
– LTE Interference on Broadband Cable TV Services;
– Damage Prevention by the Ontario Regional Common Ground Alliance;
– Why Batteries Fail – Backup Battery System Testing and Maintenance; and
– Wireless Interference 101.
The exhibitor forum will showcase over 2,000 products and services from more than 80 North American manufacturers and distributors, and is currently over 80% sold out.
CommTech attracts buyers, safety experts, operations management, planners, strategists, engineers, designers, inside and outside plant technicians, construction staff, system testers, contractors, IT personnel and educators from the cable, telco, wireless, ISP and related industries.
The show was able to expand east to Ontario this year due to the early support and endorsement of Rogers, the SCTE, and long-standing platinum sponsor Power & Tel. In the West, where the show originated eight years ago in Kelowna, Telus has been a top sponsor.
