BURNABY, BC – Glentel’s business division announced today that several large projects ranging between $2 million and $7.5 million are scheduled for completion in 2014.
Some of the newer projects include the kickoff of the installation of a secure communications system for the Government of Canada, upgrades to two legacy systems for a large agricultural company in Alberta, and the kickoff of a large new P25 system in partnership with Motorola in eastern Ontario.
Key contracts secured by Glentel in 2013, including upgrades to a refinery communications system in Ontario, the installation of a radio system in the largest potash mine in the world located in Saskatchewan, and the third phase of the installation of a large number of radios for a municipality in the Greater Toronto Area, are also set to be completed this year.
“Glentel Solutions continues to focus on its core strength of bringing wireless communications solutions to its partners, including government, oil and gas, public safety, and mining,” Glentel’s EVP and chief marketing officer Cary Skidmore said in a release.
