SiriusXM Canada offers listeners more control over content

TORONTO – Audio entertainment company SiriusXM is offering subscribers a new way to customize their listening experience which includes the ability to pause, rewind and replay live satellite radio.

The SiriusXM Onyx Plus radio, which debuted Thursday, includes a full colour display, featuring channel logos and graphics with enhanced features such as:

– TuneStart: tune to a favourite channel and automatically start a song from the beginning;
– TuneMix: create your own music channel that's a blend of songs from your favourite channels;
– TuneScan: scan and select songs already played on your favourite channels; and
– Enhanced Replay: pause, rewind and replay live satellite radio as well as content from your Smart Favourite channels.

Listeners can also set artists, song and sports alerts so they don't miss any of their favourites, browse what's playing on other channels while listening to current ones, jump to the previous channel, lock and unlock channels with mature content, and store the best FM frequencies in their area for optimum integration with their vehicle's radio.

The Onyx Plus is available now at electronic retailers across Canada and online at www.siriusxm.ca/radios.  Until January 9th, it is available with a complimentary three month XM subscription for $99.99.
