MONTREAL – Videotron has launched a new service for its Internet customers to help them get the most out of their Wi-Fi service.
The company said Wednesday that its Wi-Fi Optimization Service sends a specially trained technician to visit customers’ home to assist with Wi-Fi setup and reception. During their visit, the Wi-Fi expert will make sure that the customer’s wireless Internet network works at top speed, free of interference, in every room of the house. At the same time, the technician can set up as many as 10 wireless devices (laptops, tablets, game consoles, television sets, etc.) to connect to the network.
“With this exclusive new service, available for the first time on the market, Videotron is again anticipating its customers’ needs and setting itself apart from the competition,” said Videotron president and COO Manon Brouillette, in the news release. “We are addressing customers’ needs in an even more comprehensive manner while offering the best possible customer experience.”
