New portal pumps fans in lead up to ‘Music’s Biggest Night’

TORONTO – Rogers Media wants to get music fans primed for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards with Thursday’s launch of GRAMMYs.ca, a new digital hub available on desktop, tablet, and all mobile devices.

Billed as Canada’s premier destination for all things Grammy-related, the site integrates content from Rogers Media’s television, radio, and publishing brands to offer videos, photos, and stories on the latest music news and artists.  Content on the portal also includes performances and interviews with music’s hottest names from City and Rogers Radio stations, profiles on celebrity trend-setters from Flare magazine, in addition to photo galleries, Grammy pools, and artist profiles.

City’s exclusive Grammy coverage begins December 6 with live Entertainment City reports from Los Angeles on Breakfast Television morning shows across Canada. The party continues into the evening with The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! Countdown To Music's Biggest Night, broadcast on City at 10:00 pm ET/PT.  The 56th Annual Grammy Awards will air live on City on January 26, 2014 at 8:00 pm ET/PT (check local listings).

“The Grammys continue to be one of television’s most-watched entertainment events and through this new multiplatform hub, for the first time, Canadian audiences have the opportunity to take in the Grammy experience in a whole new way through the breadth of our dynamic brands,” said Scott Moore, president, broadcast, Rogers Media, in the news release.
