MONTREAL – Bell announced today it has expanded its recently launched mobile TV app by adding livestreaming capability of live and on-demand channels that are viewable on tablets and smartphones.
With Bell Mobile TV, Bell TV customers now have access to more than 100 live and on-demand channels. Bell Fibe TV customers can also stop and resume on-demand programming between their TV at home and their mobile device.
The company said current Bell Mobile TV customers will be automatically upgraded to the Bell TV app, however some customers may need to do so manually depending on their individual device settings.
In addition to conventional networks CTV and CTV Two, the Bell TV app provides subscribers access to specialty channels such as Bravo, A&E, History, TMN, SuperChannel, Movie Central, Teletoon, Treehouse, YTV, TSN, Leafs TV, NBA TV Canada, CTV News Channel, CBC News Network, and BBC World News. French-language networks include Super Écran, SRC, V and Canal D, RDS, RDI and LCN.
The Bell TV app is available for Android devices at Google Play, BB10 devices in BlackBerry App World and iOS in the Apple and iTunes App Store.
