
TORONTO – Bob Babinski is the new Executive Producer & Local Content Manager for City Montreal, overseeing City’s new, local weekday morning show, Breakfast Television and new, 30-minute weekly sports show, Connected Montreal says Rogers Media.
Born and raised in Montreal, Babinski comes to City with more than 25 years of television experience – both on-camera and behind-the-scenes. As a former sportscaster for CBC Television and CBC Radio in Montreal, he’s covered the Montreal Canadiens, Montreal Expos, and such events as Hockey Day in Canada, the 2006 and 2008 Olympic Games, and the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa.

Babinski also worked for several years as a freelance trainer, helping more than 300 reporters and hosts hone their skills on live reporting and on-air presence. For more than a decade, Babinski has taught journalism students at Concordia University, and continues to teach part-time at the university in broadcast, writing, reporting, and feature writing.
