TORONTO – TV and ISP service provider VMedia Inc. has announced a partnership with Canada Computers to create VMedia sales kiosks in 16 of the electronic retailer’s stores across Ontario.
The VMedia kiosks will allow customers to try out and purchase VMedia’s own VBox set-top box, as well as sign up and subscribe to VMedia’s TV and high-speed internet services on site
“We are privileged that Canada Computers is so supportive of our product,” said Alexei Tchernobrivets, CEO of VMedia, in a release. “VMedia Kiosks in Canada Computers’ stores offer a large-scale, hands-on customer experience that will show customers how the VBox works, and what a great alternative it is to the costly packages and limited access to internet content that the major players impose.”
The Markham, Ont.based Canada Computers will also feature VMedia’s services online at www.Canadacomputers.com/VMedia, which will provide updates on kiosk locations, promotions and other information, including joint marketing efforts throughout the year.
VMedia’s triple play includes high speed internet services without usage limits and contracts as well as home phone service. Canada Computers will be offering VMedia’s triple play bundles starting at $79.95.
