HAMILTON – Source Cable is adding 21 high definition channels to their channel line-up on November 14. Source now offers 87 HD channels, including 42 in its HD Basic package. The new channels include: FX Canada (in both Standard and High Definition), CityNews HD and the four Hollywood Suite services: WB TV Warner Films, MGM Channel, Sony Movie Channel and AXN Movies.
"We strongly believe in being innovative and providing the best possible services for our customers in Hamilton. For example, we were the first cable company in Hamilton to offer full-fiber-to-the-home over GPON technology,” said Dan Campbell, President of Source Cable.
He noted that Source offers customers ultra-fast internet speeds, including its latest Pro 50 service with 50 Mbps downloads and 5 Mbps uploads with no bit caps. Its Home Phone Plus service provides subscribers with one of the largest local calling areas in North America, and includes Hamilton and the entire Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Campbell added that Source is also one of the first cable companies in Canada to “successfully roll out its residential and business security services to customers in Hamilton and the Golden Horseshoe area."
Other HD channels to be added on November, 14 include: CTV2 Toronto, CBC News Network, YTV, Family Channel, Disney XD, Bravo, W, Space, Discovery Channel, Travel & Escape, OWN, documentary, MuchMusic, MovieTime and Food Network Canada.
