Bell Media and BlackBerry partner in new digital series

TORONTO ? Bell Media and BlackBerry have teamed up to produce a new original digital series for Bell Media’s lifestyle website TheLoop.ca.

The new branded series is called Live/Work, with BlackBerry as lead sponsor. Mixing “passion with progress,” the series taps into visitors’ desire for a balanced life and encourages them to find their life’s work. Each Live/Work episode will feature portraits of Canadian leaders in music, fashion, culture, and business.

?This is a landmark first for TheLoop.ca,? said Catherine MacLeod, Bell Media’s vice-president of specialty channels, in a release. ?We are very excited to deliver a compelling and immersive platform for a blue chip partner like BlackBerry to weave seamlessly into content that brings brands to life through informative, engaging, and entertaining content.?

The first four episodes profile Yael Cohen, CEO of F Cancer, Bell Media personality Jeanne Beker, HootSuite CEO Ryan Holmes, and musical artist k-os. More episodes will roll out consecutive Wednesdays featuring: Reanna Evoy, senior art director at Aldo; MTV host Aliya-Jasmine Sovani; chef Susur Lee; and fashion blogger Jay Strut.

Bell Media is promoting the digital series across its various specialty channels with co-branded TV spots featuring Live/Work personalities.
