TORONTO – Mobilicity has upgraded its unlimited network to 4G speeds of up to 21Mbps and introduced two new premium data offerings for heavy data users.
"Mobilicity has the most affordable 4G data service in Canada, said Mobilicity President and Chief Operating Officer Stewart Lyons. “Now, Canadians can enjoy premium data simply by adding it onto to any regular Mobilicity rate plan for only $20 a month – less than a dollar a day."
Mobilicity claims its new Premium Data Add-On provides 20GB of data at Mobilicity's fastest speeds each month. On a daily basis, for example, the add-on will provide customers with access to 60 minutes of streaming video, 90 minutes of streaming music, 60 app, game or music downloads, 50 video or photo uploads, 80 webpage views and 125 emails per day.
Mobilicity today also launched a Premium Mobile Data Internet Plan and the Huawei E366 Premium Data Stick to provide data stick customers with 20GB of data.
Designed for use with the Huawei E366 Premium Data Stick, Mobilicity's Premium Mobile Data Internet Plan, for example, can enable fast and affordable access to 1,400 web pages and 1,400 emails a week, plus the ability to download 850 songs, 300 apps and games and 24 hours of streaming video a month – all at Mobilicity's fastest 4G speeds.
Mobilicity's Premium Data Add-On can now be added onto any Mobilicity regular rate plan for $20/month. Mobilicity's Premium Mobile Data Internet Plan is available for $50/month and the Huawei E366 Premium Data Stick is priced at $79.99. Mobilicity's Basic Mobile Data Internet Plan is now available for $35/month – $5 less than the company's former $40/month data stick plan.
