TORONTO – Rogers Media is prepping for multiplatform coverage of the 2012 Rogers Cup which hits the court August 6 – 10.
Fifty-nine of the top 60 tennis players in the world are expected to compete in the event. Toronto will host the top 35 men at the Rexall Centre, while in Montreal, 24 of the top 25 women will hit Uniprix Stadium.
Sportsnet, Citytv and FX Canada will team up on the first three rounds and quarter-finals of men’s event and the first three rounds of women’s event, while live streaming will be available via sportsnet.ca. FX Canada and Sportsnet One will be available on free preview to Rogers digital television customers during the entire tournament.
In addition, Rogers’ wireless customers will have access to live streaming and additional sports content on their smart phones with the Rogers Anyplace TV Live mobile app, and its digital television customers can live stream the matches on their computer with RogersAnyplaceTV.com
