MONTREAL – Cogeco launched its three new high speed Internet packages in Chatham, Beamsville, Vineland and Winona, ON this week.
The Turbo 20 package offers a download speed of up to 20 Mbps, upload speeds of up to 1.5 Mbps and a monthly data transfer capacity of 80 GB. For this package, bandwidth usage that exceeds the specified monthly data transfer capacity limit will be billed at $1.50 per additional GB, with a maximum of $50 per month.
It is available for a promotional price of $30.95 per month for 12 months for customers who also subscribe to Cogeco's HD television and home phone services, and for $55.95 per month for 12 months for those who only want to subscribe to the high speed Internet service. The Turbo 20 regular price is $50.95 if bundled with other Cogeco services and $60.95 on a standalone basis.
The Ultimate 30 package offers speeds of up to 30 Mbps for downloads and up to 2 Mbps for uploads with monthly data transfer capacity of 175 GB. It is priced at $41.95 per month for 12 months for customers who also subscribe to Cogeco's HD television and home phone services, and for $66.95 per month for 12 months for those who only want to subscribe to the high speed Internet service. The Ultimate 30 regular price is $61.95 if bundled with other Cogeco services and $71.95 on a standalone basis.
For the Ultimate 55 package, speeds are up to 55 Mbps for downloads and 2 Mbps for uploads with a monthly data transfer capacity of 250 GB. For this and the Ultimate 30 packages, bandwidth usage that exceeds the specified monthly data transfer capacity limit will be billed at $1.00 per additional GB, with no maximum limit. Ultimate 55 is offered for $79.95 per month for 12 months for customers who also subscribe to Cogeco's HD television and home phone services, and for $104.95 per month for 12 months for those who only want to subscribe to the high speed Internet service. The package’s regular price is $99.95 if bundled with other Cogeco services and $109.95 on a standalone basis.
Cogeco includes its full suite of security services with these packages. Rental of a wireless modem is available for $2.95 per month for the Turbo 20 package, and is included at no extra charge in the Ultimate 30 and Ultimate 55 packages.
