Shaw Media eyes all-news channel in BC

VANCOUVER - Shaw Media is hoping to launch British Columbia’s first all-news channel this summer, the company said Wednesday. The company confirmed that it has filed an application with the CRTC for a regional, Global BC-driven all-news specialty channel to provide viewers across the province with the day’s top local, national and international headlines 24-hours-a-day.
