TORONTO - Sirius XM Radio technical executive Robert Briskman has been elected as the new president of the North American Broadcasters Association (NABA). He succeeds Leonardo Ramos of Televisa, and his two year term will begin at the NABA annual general meeting on February 29, 2012. Briskman has been with SiriusXM since 1991, when the company was known as Satellite CD Radio Inc., where he was responsible for the original development, implementation and operation of the SiriusXM broadcast distribution system.
