Jon Arklay named senior VP of Bell Media Agency and Brand Strategy


TORONTO – Bell Media has announced that Jon Arklay has assumed the role of Senior Vice-President, Bell Media Agency and Brand Strategy effective immediately. He will oversee the complete design, promotion, brand strategy, and media buying services for all Bell Media assets.

Most recently, Arklay served as Vice-President, Creative and Brand, Bell Media where he oversaw the creative brand development of the company’s conventional television stations, specialty networks, radio stations, and websites. He was also responsible for the brand management, protection, and design elements for all Olympic Games marks for Vancouver 2010 and London 2012.

Arklay previously served as Director of CTVGlobemedia’s Creative Services, leading the creation and evolution of the visual brand identity of properties such as CTV national and local news, ETALK, TSN’s SportsCentre, and Discovery Channel’s Daily Planet. He originally joined the company as TSN’s Creative Director before being hired by CTV prior to its purchase of NetStar Communications.

A Montreal native, Arklay is an active member of the media community. He serves on the board of directors for PromaxBDA, as well as the advisory board for the Vancouver Film School’s Faculty of Design.
