BNN launches new mobile portal

TORONTO – Mobile users can now access Bell Media business specialty channel BNN without having to download an app by checking out its new HTML5-based mobile website. BNN.ca is now optimized for the most popular web-enabled smart devices and features on-demand streaming of popular shows such as Market Sense, Headline, Market Call, and Market Call Tonight, the company announced Monday.

The site also features blog posts from industry-insider Larry Berman and BNN anchors including Andrew Bell, Marty Cej, and Michael Hainsworth. The site also contains the latest BNN news and an up-to-date schedule. BNN’s mobile site (pictured) allows any phone or tablet capable of playing video to play BNN video on demand. The tiled format organizes the most popular features for a web experience tailored to mobile.

“BNN.ca’s new mobile site makes it even easier for business professionals and retail investors to access information through any browser on a smart phone or tablet,” said Jack Fleischmann, Vice-president and general manager, BNN. “Users simply launch their preferred browser and type BNN.ca as they would on a computer. It features the same reliable news and analysis that business professionals depend on from BNN.ca in a touch-screen experience, no app required.”
