New Citytv app offers live programming on mobile

TORONTO – Citytv has launched a new video app for the Apple iPhone and iPod touch which will allow viewers to watch its programming live and on demand while on the go. In addition to Breakfast Television Toronto, CityLine and select primetime content, the Citytv iPhone app includes features such as a TV schedule, notification service that reminds users when their favourite shows are available on the app and television, and a functionality that saves users’ viewing history and favourites.
