TORONTO – TSN and Kraft Canada are getting ready for the third annual Kraft Celebration Tour which will see the network’s flagship sports news program SportsCentre broadcast live from 10 Canadian communities in 10 days.
The tour kicks off this Friday from Armstrong, BC with commentators Dan O’Toole and Jay Onrait who will also host stops in Devon, AB; Kyle, SK; Estevan, SK; and MacGregor, MB. Hosts Darren Dutchyshen and Kate Beirness will anchor from the Eastern Canada locations which include Wallaceburg, ON; Pembroke, ON; La Durantaye, QC; Sackville, NB; and Port Hood, NS. RDS talent Chantal Machabée and Marc Labrecque will also host French-language sportscast Sports 30 live from La Durantaye.
All 10 winning communities will receive a $25,000 community award from Kraft Canada to be used for improvements to a local facility or recreational program that supports active and healthy living in the area.
Last month, nearly 4.5 million votes were recorded by Canadians from across the country – a new record for the Kraft Celebration Tour. The national promotion saw 396 communities nominated this year, and more than 2,500 comments on the tour’s Facebook page in support of their local nominations.
