TORONTO – Supernova Interactive celebrated its rebranding as SoCast by launching its new social relationship management platform Wednesday at Slacker Canadian Music Week.
Specifically designed for the entertainment industry, SoCast SRM manages all social network activities, helps build community, improves engagement and builds industry-focused analytics. The company confirmed that six radio stations are already using the SoCast SRM platform, including some owned by Corus Entertainment and Astral Radio.
The company’s main product lines include SoCast Publisher, a social posting, scheduling and management tool; SoCast Engage, a set of tools that allow for the creation of contests and includes a unique media player and tool than can convert social views into increased ratings; SoCast Community, a community management module that allows for improved demographics; and a dashboard and analytics toolset called SoCast Analytics.
